Rotary collects hard to recycle items! This year, come see us at the Evergreen Country Day School on September 23, 2023, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm! You can help us serve our community -- and you don't need to be a member of our club or even a Rotarian (though we'd love to have you check us out!). - Did you know we can recycle anything that has a plug? Not only electronics, but appliances and other large household items. Time to clean out your garage! Small charge for televisions.
- Did you know we can recycle household hazardous waste, including paint, stain, pesticides, used motor oil, antifreeze and automotive batteries? These are just a few of the items Rooney Road Recycling Authority will accept on site. For a complete list of hazardous waste items accepted and charges applied, see below.
- Did you know we can securely shred your paper files? $5/container
- Did you know we can recycle beaded Styrofoam blocks? No peanuts, cups, plates, food containers, or egg cartons, please. We can also accept plastic film
- Did you know we can accept large household items like bathtubs, swing sets, and patio furniture? See below for details.
- Bring your old bicycles that can be refurbished for children who otherwise wouldn’t have one!
- Did you know we can recycle old mattresses and box springs? Charges apply.
The school is located at 1036 El Rancho Road. Enter the event by the school entrance on El Rancho Road, the Swede Gulch school entrance will be exit only for this event.
