The Rotary Club of Evergreen was presented with four awards on Saturday, May 19, at the annual District 5450 Celebration. The celebration was held at the Hyatt Denver Tech Center over the weekend and included several speakers, panel discussions, and breakouts, as well as lots of fun!! As usual, Evergreen Rotary was well represented and "brought the party." Below is a summary of the awards received by our club.
 Public Relations Award This award is given to the best club in the District that has generated increased awareness and understanding of Rotary through media and public relations efforts. Holly Brekke is the chair of the Publicity Committee. |  Preserve Planet Earth Award This award is given to the the best club in the District that made new, significant contributions to sustaining our environment. It was presented in recognition of the Club's Recycle Day. Tim Eagan is the chair of the Recycle Day event. |
 Kevin Farrell Leadership Award This award honors the Rotarian in the District who best demonstrates a sustained commitment to the nurturing of leadership in both youth and adults. It was presented to Curt Harris. |  The Four Way Test Award This award recognizes the Rotarian in the District who best exemplifies the principals of the Four Way Test, in all the things they think, say or do. It was presented to Bill Manning. |
