NEWS Flash! Recycle Round-up a Huge Success
Our 2016 Recycle Roundup was a huge success. Thank you to all who helped the day of the event especially those who were there all day!! Thank you to all who helped spread the word! Thank you to the publicity team, Tim, Laurie, Al, and Holly, for doing an outstanding job of getting the word out. Thank you Russ and Joan for handling the tires! A big hug to our Interactors who worked as hard or harder than the Rotarians! Thank you to Rich for the help with the facilities! Thanks to Sherwin Williams for taking paint and loaning buckets for donations. Thanks to Home Depot for loaning the pallet jack! Thank you to Barb and Kelley for counting the dough! And Barb for always having the checks ready!
Thank you to the Project Earth Team! Rita & Roger, Kelley, Dave, Tim, and Laurie! I am totally in Love with you!
And a gigantic Hug and kiss for my handsome hunk of a husband, Harry, for throwing TVs around all day.
And last but certainly not least, a huge thank you to our partner for the day, Goodwill of Denver.
We will not know how successful our first collaboration with Goodwill was until we have all the invoices. I do know we shredded 32 Bins of paper, filled a roll off with metals, and Joan's truck with tires, a semi and a third with electronics and TVs, and half a semi with other items for Goodwill!
It has been a joy and pleasure to serve as your Recycle Chair!
